- 12 fresh cherry peppers
- 4 oz (113g) cream cheese or goat cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or chives), chopped
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut off the tops of the cherry peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and salt.
- Stuff each cherry pepper with the cheese mixture and top with breadcrumbs.
- Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed peppers.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the peppers are tender and the filling is bubbly.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crunch, toast the breadcrumbs before adding them.
- Substitute goat cheese with ricotta for a milder flavor.
- Add cooked bacon or chopped nuts for additional texture.
