  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (for basting)

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the turkey drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  • Season: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using). Rub the mixture all over the drumsticks.
  • Roast: Place the drumsticks on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Roast for about 1.5 hours, basting with chicken broth every 20 minutes to keep them moist.
  • Check Doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If needed, cook longer in 10-minute increments.
  • Rest & Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side dishes!

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, broil the drumsticks for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
