Instructions

  • Prepare the Tortillas: Cut the corn tortillas into thin strips or small triangles.
  • Make the Seasoning Paste: Blend jalapeños, lime juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika into a smooth paste.
  • Coat the Chips: Toss the tortilla strips in the jalapeño mixture until evenly coated.
  • Fry the Chips: Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the coated tortilla strips in batches until golden and crispy (about 2-3 minutes per batch).
